I *finally* watched the movie, "Juno" tonight. I borrowed it from a friend in August and it's been sitting in our family room ever since. Buddy (age 12) wanted to watch it, and he's seen plenty of PG-13 movies, but I'm really, really glad I didn't let him watch this! It was a little toooooo, well, a little too much of everything. I enjoyed it though. As an adoptive parent, I couldn't help but watch it with a critical eye, but I have to admit that there wasn't anything that was portrayed in a negative or inaccurate way about adoption. (Although I have to admit that Juno going directly to a potential adoptive parent's house to meet them for the first time is not normal.) But all in all, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I still haven't seen it. I want to, but no one else in my family has any interest in it, so we usually pick something else. Guess I'll have to wait till one winter day when we're stuck in with nothing else to do!
I agree with you. A 4 out of a 5. By the way, thanks for the email you sent a few weeks ago about adoption. I have been doing some research and will get back to you I am sure with more questions later down the road.

I really enjoyed this movie as well. And I definately think that any movie that portrays adoption in a good way is even better!
I loved this movie! It was so witty and funny. I enjoyed it. The music was so cute too.
I still have never seen that movie, although I've heard it's very good. I guess I'll have to watch it soon!
