Christmas Vacation

I can't believe it's been a whole week since I've written a blog post. I guess all of the extra activities that the holidays bring force other things to go by the wayside. I'm hoping that after the first of the year, I'll be able to get back to more serious blogging!

We are pretty much set for the holidays - I need to get a few more small gifts, but everything else is wrapped and either under the tree or waiting for Santa. I'm glad I got everything done because we got hit with about 5 inches of snow yesterday and now it is FRIGID outside! Instead of being here, I wish I was here. We spent two spring breaks at the Sandestin in Florida and it was heavenly! Luckily it's going to warm up later in the week and we're hoping to go skiing with the kids.

In case I don't write again before Christmas, have a very blessed holiday.

A little less stressed out!

It's a wonder what a few days can do! In my last post I was feeling very stressed out, but in the last few days, I've gotten a lot done and I'm feeling a lot better! The tree is up and decorated, I ordered our Christmas cards from Walgreens and picked them up yesterday, I got some shopping done, I baked holiday goodies with some of my friends, etc! So I'm good to go! Of course I still have things to do, but I'm not stressed out about it anymore! Yeah!

I recently subscribed to "Stumble Upon" to find more great websites to browse and to help more people discover my blogs. I've had trouble getting the link to work at the bottom of my posts, but I'm hoping it's fix now! Hopefully someone will Stumble It and we'll see!

Stressed Out!

I know it's not just me, but I wish we didn't have to feel so stressed out this time of the year! I have so many things on my to-do list that I'm going nuts! We don't have our tree up, which is very unusual - we usually put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving. At this rate it won't get put up until this weekend. We don't have any other Christmas decorations up, I have quite a bit of shopping to do, we haven't ordered our Christmas cards yet (another very unusual situation), and everyday life (including blogging) is getting in the way!!

Oh well, I'm sure it'll all work out - and if not, maybe no one will notice!
